Christopher A. Danby was born in New York City in 1958. He
earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the State University
of New York at Binghamton. He received his M.D. degree from the
Boston University School of Medicine in 1986, earning the Bakst
Award for outstanding clinical skills. Dr. Danby completed his general
surgery residency at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in 1991. He
then served two years as Staff General Surgeon at Winn Army Community
Hospital, Fort Stewart, Georgia. In this capacity he became skilled
at video-assisted surgical procedures of many types.
